To transfer into Capella University’s RN-to-BSN FlexPath program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), you must meet the following criteria:

  • Nursing Credentials: Hold a current, unrestricted RN license.

  • Academic Requirements: Have completed an ADN or nursing diploma from an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency or an internationally recognized institution.

  • Transfer Credits: Have at least 45 applicable college credits.

  • GPA Considerations: A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale is recommended. However, applicants with a lower GPA may still be considered if they have at least 100 applied transfer college credits.
